System Requirements for GoPets

The current version of GoPets will work on a computer running Windows Vista/2000/XP/ME/98 installed. You must also install DirectX 9.0, a Microsoft graphics API that helps GoPets take full advantage of your graphics card’s advanced capabilities.

In addition, your graphics card must meet certain requirements. Cards with 16 Megabytes or less of on-board RAM are generally unable to run GoPets at high resolution settings, although they may be able to display GoPets at a resolution of 800x600 or smaller.

GoPets is currently working on a version of the client that can run on lower-spec graphics cards. A Macintosh-compatible version of the client is also in the works, and there are plans for a Linux-compatible version. The GoPets client will currently work on newer Macintosh systems that use Intel Processors and that have Apple's Boot Camp installed, which allows Mac users to run Windows and Windows based programs on their Macintosh systems.
