Custom Creations Tool

One of the many benefits of being a Premium Subscriber is the access you get to the Premium Shops. A favorite item from them is the Custom Creations Tool, which lets you edit your own clothing as well as decoration items, allowing you to make GoPets that much more unique! This guide will teach you the basics of using the tool and making the most of it.

How to make a Custom Jumper

Open your Custom Creations tool by double clicking on it in your inventory. Locate the jumper in your inventory and drag the item into the open slot in the Custom Creations Tool:

Once the jumper has been placed in the CC tool, extract the image and place it into a folder of your choice. We have named mine greenjumper.bmp for easy identification:

Open the file in a photo editing program. We can see all parts of the shirt at once:

To help with figuring out what part of the shirt goes where, we have sectioned off areas of the shirt with different colors. You are able to save your creations as either bmps or pngs. This file was saved as primarycolors.bmp for easy identification:

Now, go back to the GoPets client and click the browse button. We have chosen primarycolors.bmp. This is how this file looks on a pet. We can see where the sleeves are located, as well and the front and back of the shirt. This will help us when deciding what to edit to get our desired look:

Let's go with the ever classic tye-dye. Using the color coded image we created before, we can now figure out what part of the tye-dye image to place where. Save your image when you are ready:

We click browse once more and upload our file, and here is the result. We are happy with it, and would like to create this shirt to sell. If you are not happy with how your clothes are looking, feel free to go back and edit your original file. You can always preview it in the CC tool:

You want to get a good picture to show off your creation. Use the arrow buttons to move your model around:

Click the camera button to capture the image:

Next is naming your creation:

When you are certain you are ready to upload your creation, press the Create button. A window like this will pop-up. Are you ready to upload the item? Press OK!

The last step is to enjoy your creation!

How to make a Custom Item

You can also create custom items, not just clothes! Today we will be changing the color of a table. Drag your GoPets Modern Style Table into the CCT:

Here is the table's skin that we have opened in our editing program:

If you simply want to change the color of an item, try playing with the hues and saturation:

View it in your CCT, if it is to your liking, upload it using the steps in the above jumper tutorial:

How to make a Framed Picture

GoPets offers a great selection of painting items, which can be used to your advantage. Pick a frame or painting you like, and drag it into your CCT.

Here is the painting all laid out. It already has a great frame, so we will utilize it.

Place a photo or picture of your choice into the correct area.

Save and upload it into the CCT on your client and create it if it is to your liking:
