The basics of COD

COD stands for Cash on Delivery. The system of COD is used to prevent scamming, and to encourage users to trade without risking the loss of shells/items. Currently, shells cannot be traded via COD. Please be advised that unopened COD items will return to the original sender after 7 days.

How to send an item using COD

To send an item, first open your Post Office by clicking the second circle near the bottom of your GoPets client. The following window will pop up:

Click on Post Office.

On the window that pops up on the left side, click the gift box image at the top right side, as seen in the image above. On this window, you will need to type or paste the receipiant of your delivery. You can also type a small message if you'd like.

To add an item to your box, you can click and drag it to the bottom left corner, or use this simple shortcut:

First, click on the item you are wanting to send, the radial menu pops up. Click on Pet Delivery, as seen above.

Because I have more than one item in the stack, this window pops up. You can choose to send one, or all of the item by using the arrows, or simply typing in the right amount.

Now that you've added the item to your COD box, you need to check COD and type in the number of shells the reciepiant needs to pay in order to accept the box. You do not need to type zero in the boxes you are not going to fill in.

Now click the checkmark in the bottom left corner and that's it! Easy, huh?

Receiving an item via COD

So, someone has sent you an item via COD, but you aren't sure how to accept it or you want to decline? Follow the steps below to become more comfortable when using/receiving a COD.

By double-clicking on a box in your inventory, the following window will pop up. However, your window will look slightly different. In the top left corner, you will be able to see the item located in the box, as well as the shells needed to purchase the item. The small number on the right bottom side of the image is the number of items included, in the image above, there is a 1. The shells needed to purchase the item is only 1 . Before accepting an item via COD, always make sure that you check over the amount of shells required to purchase the items, also, check the number of items included, if anything is wrong, it's best to decline.

Accepting a COD

After looking over the shells required and number of objects included, if everything is right, then simply click on the Checkmark on the right side near the bottom, as circled above.

The window above will pop up after clicking on the checkmark in the previous window, here you can press the checkmark again to accept the COD or, you can decline one more time.

After clicking on the checkmark the second time, shells will be deducted from your Shell Bank, and the item(s) will appear in your Inventory.

Declining a COD

To decline an item sent via COD, click on the image that has a present and an arrow on it, it is on the left side near the bottom, as seen above.

After clicking on the button above, a window will pop up asking whether you would like to send the item back or not, you can click the checkmark to send the item back, or click cancel to return to the previous window.
