Peggle Deluxe Game Guide

Peggle Deluxe offers four fun modes of game play: Adventure, Quick Play, Duel and Challenge. Adventure Mode is where you’ll want to start playing.

In Adventure Mode you will play with the help of unique characters that each have their own Magic Powers, like Bjorn, the unicorn, can help you get a better shot with his Super Guide Magic Power. Jimmy Lightning, the gopher from Level Two, can release a Multiball for double the action and points! Before we discuss how to activate these Magic Powers, let’s go over the basics of Peggle Deluxe.

Upon starting a new game you will see something like the following:

All of those colored pegs that cover the screen are what you will want to aim at, specifically the orange, green, and purple pegs. To aim, use your mouse or the arrow keys on your keyboard to rotate the Peggle Popper found at the top of the screen. You’ll notice the tracking arrow below it will help you to perfect your shot, and above it you can see the current character’s Magic Power. In this level, playing with Bjorn, the Magic Power is Super Guide:

Your Stage, Stage Score, and Total Score can also be found to the left and right of the Peggle Popper:

To shoot the Peggle Popper, simply click your left mouse button or arrow key, then watch the ball as it lights up as many pegs as it hits:

You can track how many balls you have left to shoot by looking at the Ball-O-Tron on the left side of the screen. You can also access the Menu from there:

Orange pegs are worth the most as clearing all of them is the whole point of Peggle Deluxe! To score even better points for every peg you hit you will want to try and aim at the purple pegs as they will give you a huge Point Boost for the next two shooting rounds. One purple ball is randomly placed on the board for every shooting round:

Points are automatically increased as you make your way up the Fevermeter as well, which is found to the right of the screen. As you hit the orange pegs, this Fevermeter will light up and give you a constant point boost:

Below the Fevermeter you will see the Instant Replay button. If you’ve made a really good shot and want to view it again or save it and view it later, you can press this button to do so:

Back on the game play area you will notice the green pegs. Each Stage will offer two randomly placed green pegs which can be hit to activate the character’s Magic Power. Bjorn, the unicorn, has the Magic Power of Super Guide. When a green peg is hit while playing with Bjorn, the tracking arrow at the end of the Peggle Popper will show you the first bounce off of the peg you are aiming at:

Each character’s Magic Power will last a certain amount of time, be it an automatic effect or something that lasts a few rounds. In Bjorn’s case, Super Guide lasts three shooting rounds, which you can see just above his head:

Something else that you will notice in the game play area is the Free Ball Bucket at the bottom of the screen:

The Free Ball Bucket will move from side to side constantly. If your ball lands in it, you win a Free Ball!

You can also win a Free Ball by making the Ball-O-Tron Meter light up. You can do this by making 25,000 points in one shooting round:

The Ball-O-Trong Meter can be filled up multiple times in a shooting round. You’ll earn a Free Ball for getting 75,000 and 125,000 points as well! You’ll also get the chance to win a Free Ball if you don’t hit any pegs when you take a shot. This is decided with a coin flip:

Once you have completely cleared the play area of all the orange pegs, the Free Ball Bucket will disappear leaving a chance for you to score some major last minute points. You’ll get the points associated with the Bonus Hole that your ball lands in:

As you go along completing the Adventure Mode Stages, you will unlock these levels so that they may be played in Quick Play Mode, with any of the characters you’ve unlocked, too:

Want to play against an opponent? You can select Duel Mode from the Main Menu and challenge your friends or the computer by playing against each other. In Duel Mode you play in the same game play area trying to hit more pegs than one another to win:

There are no Free Balls in Duel Mode, including Coin Flips. Instead you’ll earn Style Points. The game ends when either all of the balls have been eliminated or both players run out of balls.

Once you have completely finished Adventure Mode, you will want to really test your skills and play in Challenge Mode. Be prepared for some extra hard Peggle challenges!

Have fun, and don’t hesitate to contact GoPets Customer Support with any questions or concerns you have.
